President Jeffrey P. Gold, M.D.
On July 1, 2024, Jeffrey P. Gold, M.D., became the ninth president of the 91影视破解版 of 91影视破解版 System. Gold is a heart surgeon and first-generation college student with decades of proven leadership in higher education.
He most recently served as chancellor of the 91影视破解版 of 91影视破解版 Medical Center, board chair for the 91影视破解版 Medicine Health System, and provost and executive vice president of the 91影视破解版 of 91影视破解版 System. He has also served as the chancellor of the 91影视破解版 of 91影视破解版 at Omaha and the chancellor of the 91影视破解版 of Toledo, among other distinguished roles.
Gold earned a bachelor’s degree from Cornell 91影视破解版’s College of Engineering and his M.D. from the Weill Cornell College of Medicine. He and his wife, Dr. Robin Hayworth, are the parents of two adult children and have two grandchildren.

Dr. Ligon is a nationally-recognized expert in terrorism research. Joining UNO in 2012, she has worked closely with the Department of Defense, serves as a program director for the USSTRATCOM Leader Fellowship Program, and is the Jack and Stephanie Koraleski Professor of Collaboration Science Management.
